Terms of Service

PaperHammer is an automated document drafting service operated by Afterbuck Labs Inc. that generates template contractor documents based on information you provide. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. Nothing produced by this service constitutes legal advice, creates an attorney-client relationship, or is a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney.

You are solely responsible for reviewing any document before use, verifying its accuracy, and determining whether it is appropriate for your situation.

You must be at least 18 years old to use PaperHammer. The documents generated are designed for use in the United States. By using the service you represent that you are of legal age and that your use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

PaperHammer charges a one-time fee per document ($19 USD) or a one-time lifetime access fee ($79 USD). There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or hidden fees. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

Your purchase is complete when Stripe confirms payment and we deliver your download link by email.

After successful payment, a download link is sent to the email address you provided during checkout. Links expire 48 hours after delivery. If you purchased lifetime access, you may recover your access at any time via paperhammer.app/recover.

You represent that all information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to use it. You agree not to use PaperHammer to generate documents for fraudulent, harassing, or unlawful purposes. You are solely responsible for any actions you take based on a document generated by this service.

Documents generated for you are yours to use. PaperHammer and Afterbuck Labs Inc. retain ownership of the software, prompts, templates, and infrastructure. You may not resell or redistribute PaperHammer-generated documents as a product or service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT DOCUMENTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, LEGALLY EFFECTIVE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSE. YOUR USE OF ANY DOCUMENT IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AFTERBUCK LABS INC.’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC DOCUMENT AT ISSUE. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES.

We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada for resolution of any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service.
